Welcome to The Oaks Academy!
The Oaks Academy is a Christ-centered school that exists to provide a rich, classical education to children of diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, preparing them to succeed in a rigorous secondary educational program and to demonstrate spiritual, social and emotional maturity.
How to Apply
The Admissions area of our website is designed to make the application process as simple as possible using our Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.
When to Apply
The Oaks Academy admission process begins on October 1st and applications for admission are due on February 5, 2016. The application must be complete and postmarked no later than the February deadline. A completed application includes birth certificate, current immunization record, current grades, standardized test scores (if applicable), and Academic Recommendations (grades 1st - 7th). A non-refundable fee of $50 must be submitted with each application submitted for consideration.
Creating an Online Application
To begin the online application process, select "Create an Account" from the menu bar and provide the necessary information to create a "New Student Application" for your child. You will have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.
After submitting the application, you will be able track online your admissions status at the school by logging into your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms, and if necessary reprint the supplemental forms.
Financial assistance is awarded by The Oaks Academy, if financial need is identified through the FACTS Grant & Aid application process. After submitting your Application for Admission, you will be directed to a link to FACTS . To be considered for any financial assistance, families are required to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application form along with required income disclosure documents.
After all application materials are received and placement testing has been completed, the admissions committee will determine acceptance, based on available spaces, and notify parents of their decision as appropriate. Decision letters will be mailed in early March.
Registration and Enrollment
After receiving an acceptance letter from the Admissions Office, parents will be provided a registration packet to complete that contains all necessary registration and enrollment forms. There is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $50.00 required to Enroll your student.
